Continuing Education

Meeting Presentations

The APS 31st Annual Scientific Meeting will offer continuing education credit/contact hours for physicians, psychologists, nurses, and pharmacists. Credit/contact hours will be awarded for those sessions attended and evaluated. There are no prerequisites for this activity. Successful completion requires that participants register for the meeting, attend and participate, and complete an online evaluation. Participants will receive their continuing education certificates immediately after they submit their evaluations online.

Physicians

American Pain Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

American Pain Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Psychologists

American Pain Society is approved by the American Psychological Association to provide continuing education (CE) for psychologists. APS maintains responsibility for the program and its content. This activity has been designated for a maximum of 15.5 hours of CE credit for psychologists for sessions attended and evaluated.

Nurses

The American Pain Society is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This activity has been designated for up to 16.5 contact hours. Nurses can earn up to 7 hours of CNE designated for pharmacotherapy credit.

Pharmacists

The American Pain Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Up to 15.5 credit hours (1.55 CEUs) will be awarded and a statement of credit provided upon submission of a completed evaluation.
