Never in its 25-year history has the APS undertaken such an ambitious effort. Never has it sought financial assistance from foundations, industry, and its members to increase public and professional awareness of pain, advocate for public policy change, and foster a comprehensive research agenda.

Freedom from pain is a big dream, but it can become a reality with your help! APS has a big dream, and we want you to be part of it! Pain is a serious and costly public health problem in this country and the most common symptom that leads to medical care. It results in more than 50 million lost workdays each year. More than that, it is a challenge for family, friends, and healthcare providers who must support individuals with the physical and emotional consequences of pain.
How will your donation make a difference?
Your donation will help to raise public awareness and awareness in the healthcare community, and will bolster support for better laws and increased research funding. Your donation will have an enormous impact on our efforts.
